Tales of nature
In today’s day and age, we are mostly occupied with
things that has no significance in spiritual development, such as meeting
the office deadlines, whether it be children heading to schools, or people
doing jobs that they hate just to make a living, I categorise
all these under a modern day rat-race that we all have got accustomed to. We have been led in believing that money
holds an awful lot of importance in order to live a healthy lifestyle. We’re
just concerned about the external growth but not internal.
We barely even have time to invest for our own benefit,
whether it be physical or mental. When was the last time have you been to a
park amidst nature to take a walk, when was the last time did you watch a beautiful
sunrise or sunset, painting the sky in different hues, or when was the last
time you looked in the sky in the night to observe the shimmering constellations?
We got habituated to live in a concrete jungle as
we totally disconnected ourselves from nature. It’s no secret that nature has
healing effect on us, despite we still adamantly choose to live the way we do. But what’s the point of
earning money when you use the very same thing in order to pay your medical
bills? Therefore, it's necessary to get out there in nature to spend
some time in 'self contemplation'. for your spiritual progress.
I’m a nature lover myself, and I feel lucky being surrounded by it. In fact, I spend a great deal of time on my rooftop looking at the pale blue sky as clouds transit taking different shapes and sizes. I can hear birds chirping in my neighborhood
as I’m writing this article. One day, I saw a squirrel hanging upside down from
a fully ripen mango on a mango tree and savouring the nature's gist. Since the
spring just came to an end, I felt delighted to listen to koel birds, has
they put their show on only during the spring. And there’s nothing like the sight
of a herd of cranes flying in surprising synchronicity. Personally, I find the sound of
crickets in the evening to be soothing.
There are many more events that I’ve encountered
with mother nature. Since it won’t fit in this article; I have decided to share
only few. However, I hope you all take this in a good spirit and try to connect
with nature for your own spiritual evolution.
